Hit and Run in San Diego

My college roommate was cycling Thursday morning before work with her husband....she was hit by a car while in the bike lane...totally in the right place. Some impatient ass, passing a car on the right, swerved into the bike lane, hit her and sped away....leaving her in a heap with her ankle pretty much severed from her leg.

 Just like The Captain, the doctor on call was the right person to do the job...she is back together with hopes of having a working ankle  when healed.

This is why I could never be a serious bicyclist -- I just don't trust other drivers. Sending prayers for your friend.
